LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts, despite its relatively recent presence in the art history of Singapore, has actively participated in the development, articulation and the propagation of contemporary art practices and discourse here. This exhibition ‘The LASALLE School‘: 20 Years of Fine Arts from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts seeks to select and showcase art works from 33 artists whose works have been nurtured by and developed through association with the college.
The LASALLE School will explore and present the various intellectual, aesthetic and historical influences that have affected and effected the rich variety of artworks and artists that the college has engendered and developed through its role as an art educational institution.
